Playing with sound through digital manipulation is both fun and fascinating! This workshop engages pupils in recording and using sound effects, with the opportunity to apply them within a meaningful context. Here's an example called 'Galaxy Rocks' produced by Year 4 and 5 pupils from a primary school in Bolton.
Suitable for KS2 and KS3 pupils.

Game On!

This exciting workshop gives pupils a unique opportunity to experience practical sound design.They record and input their own sound effects into a computer game interface which they can then play. As a result of participating in the workshop, one KS3 pupil is even looking to pursue sound design as a career pathway!
