INSET and Training for Staff

Unipace are able to offer high quality INSET training and staff development in Dance across the Primary phase. We can tailor sessions to meet your individual needs.

Anna Daly, specialist dance development officer, has extensive dance experience working in both education and community settings, having worked with Early Years, all key stages, youth dance companies, special needs  / PMLD and staff teams from schools to theatre directors.

Whether for fun, learning or performance, Anna’s approach is always professional, engaging and accessible.

Early Years' Dance Play

Anna has developed a particular specialism working with Early Years and Dance whilst at Ludus Dance, leading training on dance play with under fives and their grown ups, whether they be carers, teachers or parents. We can also offer full days or longer term shadowing / mentoring provision.

Anna is passionate about the importance of dance as good playtime and the crucial impact it can have on a young child’s ability to develop physically, emotionally, cognitively, socially, and creatively. It is also a chance for the grown ups to listen to a child’s first language, that of movement. Anna was nominated as a national finalist with Sure Start Lancaster, for the Daycare Trust’s “Partners in Excellence” awards, for a parent and toddlers dance project.
